ACTIONS AND CHANGES NEEDED SO OUR GOVERNMENT WORKS FOR OUR PEOPLE, OUR COUNTRY, AND THE ENVIRONMENT!

Our Government needs a New, All Inclusive Plan, to take care of The World, our Country, our Society and Communities, our National Security and Domestic Tranquility, our Land and Environment, our Infrastructure, Economy and Commerce, and All of the People in our Country, and the World.

We must have a Plan to Protect our Country and All Our People from any type of Attack, whether it be Covert Spying, or Overt Disinformation Campaigns through Traditional Media or Cyber Internet Social Media; OR, any type of Violent Conflict or Military Aggression; by Any and All Enemies, Foreign or Domestic.

To make the World a better and safer place America should strive to, Be the Leader of the World, by setting the Example of Doing the Right Thing for World Peace. We should use our Money, Influence, Power of Persuasion, and Diplomacy to get other Nations to cooperate and work with us to Achieve World Peace, to Protect the International Economy, the Environment, All Human Beings; and, the Planet. We should be Friendly and Helpful, and have a Good Attitude toward, and work with our traditional Allies, and treat them with Dignity and Respect.

When other countries are aggressive, obstructive or uncooperative we should, with our Allies, put forth a Friendly, United Front seeking their Cooperation, and apply Pressure through Economic Sanctions as Severe as necessary to persuade them of the benefits of working together. And, It goes without saying that we Should NOT use Belligerency, Insults, Aggressive Attitude, Incendiary Rhetoric, Threats, Bullying, Belittling, Name-Calling, or Misrepresentation of  Actual True Facts. Our Military Power should be Reserved as a last resort for Defense of our Country or necessary action to achieve Peace.

Domestically, we must make a Plan to Immediately Renew, Repair, and Improve our Nation's Infrastructure; building and repairing Roads, Bridges, Tunnels, Dams, Airports, and Public Transportation; including  Airlines, Subways, High Speed Railroads, and Buses. We should require Seat Belts in all School Buses. 

We should immediately install Automatic Braking Systems on ALL Trains. We have had Automatic Braking Systems for trains for over twenty (20) years. We just failed to get the job done of Installing it on all Railroads everywhere. Not only would All These Things be the Right Thing to Do, it would protect our citizens and the environment from Accidents, Disasters and Failures caused by In-Action, Neglect and Lack of Planning, and it would be a very good thing for the Economy by creating many thousands of good paying jobs.

We should give a High Priority to improving our Schools and Education System, emphasizing overall General Knowledge, Life Skills, and Acceptable Behavior. We should make sure that Preventive, Mental and Physical Healthcare is Widely Available, Free or easily affordable, for All People. Our System of Justice should be Fair and Equal for All People.

America, as a Country of Immigrants,   should Welcome new immigrants and refugees, care for them, and treat them with Dignity and Respect. With modern technology, Vetting and Monitoring should be easy. Immigration and Citizenship should be open and easily attainable by all Good, Thoroughly Vetted, People. Studies show that New immigrants and refugees are, Much Less Likely, to commit crimes, than our general population. They don't take our jobs. They often take jobs others don't want. They become good citizens, and studies show they make significant contributions to our Economy.

Helping other countries to be more Peaceful and Safe will greatly reduce the need for people to immigrate and/or need to flee persecution. Putting up barriers, and belittling and abusing people seeking a better life or fleeing persecution is the wrong approach.  

We should never Terrorize, Torture, or Abuse people by separating families, by locking them in cages, by refusing to give them proper care, and taking away their Hope. The way our current leadership is treating immigrants and refugees is Criminal, Abominable, Inhumane, Insufferable, and most certainly is causing Hundreds, or more likely, Thousands of young developing children to become Mentally ill. It is an Overwhelmingly EGREGIOUS Display of Blatant RACISM that is in Total Violation of the Spirit and Creed of America! 

In order to achieve our Goals and Objectives it is Imperative that we Elect to All Federal, State, and Local Government Offices; Good Democratic Candidates, Who have Honesty, Integrity, Compassion, Good Character, a Sense of Fairness and Equality, and a Desire to do the Right Thing for All Our People, Government, and Country; People who will Honor their Oath and Pledge to Preserve, Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States.

Republicans, the minority party, are doing everything they can to keep their grip on Power. They misrepresent the Facts. They use various and numerous means to Suppress the Vote. Soon they will be engaging in unfair Re-districting, called Gerrymandering. All of these things are easy to see in the everyday Prolific, Honest and Truthful, Mainstream Media. We need to do everything possible to counter their actions, but most importantly, We must turn out overwhelming numbers of Good, Conscientious People to Vote for our Candidates; Democrats. Democrats work HARD for Regular People, the Great Majority.

All People, need to Communicate Regularly with, ALL Federal, State, and Local Government Officials, about all the many things that we want and care about. Things that are Good and Fair for All our People, our Country, and our Environment.

We must let our Government know, that we Want and Expect Honesty, Integrity, Fairness and Transparency in All Aspects of All Government Policies and Actions.

                   SOME IMPORTANT OF THE THINGS;  BUT NOT ALL, 

                THAT WE WANT OUR GOVERNMENT TO DO, INCLUDE:

Insist that All Rich People and Corporations pay their Fair Share of Taxes. Rescind Laws and Regulations that allow Rich People and Corporations to Avoid Paying Taxes. Outlaw use of Offshore Tax Shelters. If People and Companies make money in America, they should help support America.

Reduce and Restrict  Lobbyist's Activities, and Access to members of Congress. Continuously monitor and keep records of their activities, and make them Public.

Re-establishment of the Voting Rights Act to assure that All People have the Right to Vote and that their Vote will be Counted.

Establish Standardized Voting in all Elections, in All States and Territories. Voting that is Safe from any kind of meddling or interference (foreign or domestic), and that has Paper Backup, and that is Not On-line. 

Make Re-Districting Fair, Unbiased, and representative of the local resident population.

Require State Governments that do not already have it, to Establish a Fair and Representative Re-Districting Process. 

Outlaw Gerrymandering.

Stop all forms of Voter Suppression. Pass Federal Laws that Guarantee Safe, Secure Voting, with generous opportunities to vote and easy access to Polling Places.  Keep all voting tabulations Offline and with Paper Backup. We the People have a RIGHT to know that our Elections are Fair, Safe, and Secure from any kind of meddling.

Make registering to vote easy, readily available, and automatic upon a person's 18th birthday.

Protect Voter Rolls, and voter registrations from being altered or deleted for political purposes.    

Pass Sensible Gun laws: Outlaw Assault Weapons and Munitions of War. Pass regulations for gun ownership and use, similar to regulations for buying, owning and operating motor vehicles. Require training, licensing, registration, proficiency testing including periodic re-testing, and insurance. Also, reporting sales transaction to the government; just like owning, operating, and/or selling a motor vehicle.
