Education: We need quality free public education for all young people required by law, from kindergarten through vocational school or bachelor's degree; provided by all Tax Funded public schools, universities, colleges, junior colleges, and vocational schools; and flexible, general continuing education, free or low cost available and recommended for adults, immigrants, and new citizens.
We need an educated populace to help properly run our country, qualify for good paying jobs, and contribute to, and give back to, the community. We CAN achieve goals to which we give a high priority.
Our educational system needs to be flexible and adjustable to bring out the best qualities of each individual; a broad, general education with easily achievable success for understanding the big picture of life,
and specific education to bring out the best of each individual's unique interests, talents, and skills. Educated people will not only be able to enjoy a better life, they will be to make worthwhile contributions to society, and give back to the community.
All teachers and educational administrators should be rated as "Professionals" and PAID as Such!
There should be a concerted effort to
mainstream all people; students, children, and adults into regular society. A great impetus to that objective could be teaching sign language in all schools. Not only would it be a good learning discipline, it would greatly improve relationships between hearing and hearing impaired people, AND, it would make it much eaiser for hearing impaired and deaf people to be a regular part of society. And that would be a GOOD THING!
There should be schools for special needs children and adults, people who have physical or mental issues, or specific learning difficulties, or social behavioral problems that cannot be properly handled in regular schools.
For example, difficult and unruly children who have behavioral issues should not be "just expelled " from
regular school, but have to attend an alternative school. A caring and compassionate place of learning that is staffed and equipped to help hard to reach children overcome their difficulties and continue their education, with a goal of getting them back into regular school as soon as possible.
All people in our Great Country should have the opportunity, and be encouraged, to get an education. Also, people should be able and encouraged, to continue becoming more educated through out their entire lives.
Elementary and middle school hours should be flexible so they can be adjusted to match the hours of working parents, thereby reducing, the need for, and the extra expense of daycare.
Money spent on EDUCATION, will reduce the need for money to be spent on police, courts, jails, and prisons. Our justice system, our huge prison populations, and the rapid rise of private prisons is an embarrassment for our country, a testament to our increasing racism, and proof positive that we need to greatly increase our efforts to educate all our people to be intelligent, caring, and well behaved citizens.
Another Great Improvement would be to have Much More INTENSIVE EDUCATION and TRAINING in the Operation of all Motor Vehicles, to include scooters, motorcycles, cars, trucks, even watercraft, and bicycles. This would help to reduce the incidence of transportation and traffic accidents and deaths, as well as cut back on Road Rage. People could learn the "Rules of the Road" and the importance of Good Behavior.
We must work hard to improve education. All fair minded, caring, compassionate people should work hard to ensure that ALL people, rich and poor alike, get a High-Quality Education. All people in America should want everyone to be well educated, knowledgeable, and intelligent. We should teach all our people good values like, proper behavior, manners, decorum, ethics, dignity, honesty, respect, fairness, morality, love, acceptance, tolerance, doing the right thing, caring for others, loyalty, faithfulness, fidelity, how to live one's life, how to be a helpful and participating member of society
What happens a lot in American society is that rich people feel like their children are good and deserve to get a good education from really good schools and grow up to be the leaders of our great country. However, something that some rich people seem to overlook is that there are far and away many, many more regular and poor children in America that also deserve a good education. Good high-quality education for all would give many of our young people a chance to excel, and to become good, productive (maybe outstanding) members of our society; and, it would be a giant step forward toward reducing crime; drug addiction, murder, assault, rape, road rage, suicide, robbery, hate, and resentment, etc.
Mental and physical health care for all of our people, would also be a great impetus toward a more peaceful, and happy society.
Mentally and physically healthy people who are also well educated, knowledgeable, and intelligent, would a be great asset to our country and would contribute mightily to the Domestic Welfare, and Tranquility.
Unfortunately, many poor and disadvantaged people cannot get mental and physical healthcare. Mental and physical healthcare should be much more of a RIGHT available for all people, and much less of a Business for PROFIT! If all people had access to, and regularly received Mental and Physical healthcare, our country would be a much happier and safer place in which to live. When we let some people live in a "dog eat dog" world, we participate in a never ending, vicious circle of human degradation.
Unfortunately, most RICH PEOPLE don't want to share. Judging the future by the past it is easy to see that rich people work hard to continuously increase their own Wealth, and to get the lion's share (over 80%), of all new income. Regular and poor people have had little to no increase in income since the 1970's. True! Look it up!
